The IR web site offers a wealth of information about the university. Please browse through our online data book to see what’s available. If you can’t find what you need there, check our staff page to see which of our analysts can help you. We will make every effort to fulfill reasonable requests for data. If a special effort is made to assemble and/or deliver data, IR reserves the right to charge for the services necessary to fulfill the request. This may include billing for the hourly rates of IR employees and others at the university who play a part in assembling the data.

Data and reports are usually available in printed and electronic format. The delivery method of choice for IR is electronic. This speeds delivery time and helps the environment by reducing paper use. All efforts will be made to deliver the data the way they were requested.

Washington State University Data Book
The online data book provides general information on students, degrees, employees, physical facilities, finances, libraries, and WSU's peer schools. The data are available in either HTML or PDF format, the former of which can be filtered and sorted dynamically.

Common Data Set
The WSU Common Data Set is updated yearly and is available as an Excel spreadsheet 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008 , 2009 .

The Common Data Set (CDS) initiative is a collaborative effort among data providers in the higher education community and publishers to improve the quality and accuracy of information provided to all involved in a student's transition into higher education, as well as to reduce the reporting burden on data providers.
